Sexy Soul Wellness Testimonials for Coach Cora

Sexy Soul Wellness believes in helping women to change their mind, body and soul to seek happiness and comfort in their lives. Please read some testimonials from my clients.

Jenna, 25, Boston, MA: I always look forward to talking with Cora, and finding out what unique idea she’ll have next for my “homework.” Since working with Cora I have gotten some esophageal issues more under control, fully embraced putting spinach in smoothies, and had to buy new (smaller!) jeans. But outside of the physical changes, it has been really great to have someone hold me, in her words, lovingly accountable for finding more truth, in my own voice. Talking to Cora on the phone is like talking with a supportive girlfriend…who happens to have creative ideas for how to make your life more fulfilling.

Alison, 28, Philadelphia, PA: “I have been working with Cora for three months, and in that time I have gained more clarity around what it is that I TRULY want in my life, than ever before. With the tools she has given me and her support, I have been able to FINALLY follow my dream of acting. I have landed two roles and see a bright future both for acting and writing. I also see that there is nothing “wrong” with the life I am living, so there is really nothing to “fix,” and that I can have it all.”

Jennifer, 27, Missouri: “Since Cora and I began working together, I’ve gone from a size 10 to an 8, and even now the 8′s are getting a little looser.  Cora has been such an inspiration and a great motivation.  The recipes and food ideas that she has given me have been wonderful!  I now make smoothies all of the time for breakfast and have incorporated more fruits and veggies in my everyday diet.  I love the holistic health counseling way.  There are so many components to feeling healthy and happy, and I can say that I feel like a revitalized person since working with Cora.  By setting goals for myself and by Cora giving her recommendations, I have achieved almost all of my goals that we initially set!”

Nicole B., 27, New York City: “I worked with Cora for a year as a nutritionist, and then life coach, and then friend. During a time where I needed guidance most, she was able to help me see the wholeness of nutrition, exercise and life and through her gentle, understanding, and intuitive approach I was able to change my life to not only view food and my body in a positive view, but life in general. Unlike nutritionists who have a heavy-handed approach with impossible to adhere rules and regulations, Cora was like a guardian angel that helped guide me back to lightness and vitality. I highly recommend her program for girls who struggle with body image or are recovering from any eating issues at all!”

Anna, 38, California: “Cora is my partner in health – fun, patient, wise, and empowering.  She balances a much-needed exploration of my inner life with a super practical approach to meal planning and nutrition for a working mother of 2 small girls.  Her positive vibe, enthusiasm and expertise have helped me move beyond a diet mentality towards a new way of eating that leaves me feeling satisfied and energized.  I would – and do – wholeheartedly recommend her to any woman who is looking to rethink her relationship with food and discover her inner beauty.”

Lianna, 29, Nebraska: “When I agreed to go through the initial consultation, I really wasn’t thinking that I’d be signing up for more sessions. I thought, “I don’t really need a health counselor. I just want to learn more about what they do.” But after the consultation, I realized that there were a couple of major issues that I needed help with, one of which was a digestive disorder that I had been suffering from for over 3 years. I admit I wasn’t optimistic that my disorder would magically disappear, especially since there is no known cure for it. But I signed up for 12 sessions anyway, hopeful that maybe Cora could at least help me improve the symptoms.

When we started, Cora had me set goals for myself for time periods of one month, six months, and one year. Some of the goals I wasn’t even sure were attainable. But even after only 2 sessions with Cora, I realized that I had met the goals I set for one month. And when we finished all 12 sessions six months later, I attained all those goals I had set for myself! My digestive disorder is now almost completely non-existent. I initially had thought that the symptoms of my disorder were solely food-based, that there must have been something I was eating that would cause me to be in so much pain on a daily basis. It wasn’t until I started working with Cora that I realized there were so many other triggers (mental, emotional, psychological, etc.) that were feeding into this problem. She was able to identify other issues and really dig to the root of the problems. Cora was so good at asking the right questions, which helped me see a different perspective and gave me insight on how to heal. And during every session, I was always amazed at what great advice she had to offer. She also helped me learn how to manage stress better, which I’m sure must have been contributing to my unhealthy state as well.

Cora really has a gift. It’s a remarkable thing when you work with a professional who you know is doing what they’re called to do. I feel I have reached such a good place in my life, and I couldn’t have gotten here without Cora. I love the balance I have with work, home, social life, and family. I feel great; this is the healthiest I have ever been! In addition to managing my digestive disorder and achieving the other major goals I had set, I also lost some weight in the process. Recently, people at work have asked me if I’ve lost weight and they’ve commented how good I look. I’m sure anyone would be flattered by that, but especially since I am a personal trainer, it’s important to me because of the expectation that comes along with my job that I appear to practice what I preach. I would encourage anyone who has the opportunity to work with Cora to do so. I have no doubt that anyone she works with would benefit greatly from it!”

Varina , 38, New York: The other day, my teacher, friend, & (unofficial) mentor told me that she has witnessed noticeable positive changes in me in the last many months. I was surprised but pleased, and asked her, “How so?” She tells me that my outlook, my sense of Self, and the way in which I step up to a challenge has changed, and she’s thrilled to see it. She credited me with inner strength and a maturing outlook, among other things, but, in truth, I must pass along this credit to the loving spirit that is my friend & health counselor, Cora Poage.

None of these changes would have been possible without Cora’s faith, both in me and in Love, or her many, many talents and skills she has and continues to develop as an active, loving listener with practical and spiritual words of guidance. Not once have I felt preached to or made to feel like I’m a mess in need of cleaning up. To the contrary, she has reminded me of the good person I am and that I, too, am worthy of self-care and attention; and reminds me that I am actually doing a good thing for those others in my life by taking care of Me.

She has helped me and guided me and asked me every step along the way for honest feedback so that she may genuinely maintain effective insights and communications. I have enormous faith in her abilities and commitment to loving change, and consider any person who has the good fortune to cross her path a lucky soul, indeed.”

Kay, 26, Washington D.C.: “Cora has a gift of bringing out the best in her clients and inspires them to lead the fullest, healthiest lives possible through a combination of goal-setting, reflection, brainstorming, and positive reinforcement. Her program and consulting has enriched my life and encouraged me to make mindful decisions for my body and mind every day.”
